Kaizer Chiefs kept their 100% start with a narrow 1-0 win over Polokwane City at FNB Stadium on Wednesday night.
After a tight game with few chances, Siphesihle Ndlovu popped up in the 79th minute to slot home the winner. Chiefs had beaten Stellenbosch 2-0 in their opener, while Polokwane were coming off a goalless draw with Magesi.
Golden Arrows 1-0 Richards Bay
Golden Arrows claimed bragging rights in the first KwaZulu-Natal derby of the season, beating Richards Bay 1-0 at King Zwelithini Stadium.
Richards Bay missed a couple of big chances before Junior Dion scored a stunning volley in the 82nd minute to seal Arrows’ first win of the season. Richards Bay remain winless after two games.
Sekhukhune United 1-0 TS Galaxy
Sekhukhune United joined the early leaders with a 1-0 home win over TS Galaxy at Peter Mokaba Stadium.
Bradley Grobler came off the bench to score the decisive goal in the 77th minute. Galaxy had threatened earlier, but Sekhukhune’s keeper Renaldo Leaner made important saves to keep them in the game.

Magesi FC 1-1 Stellenbosch FC
Magesi continued their solid start under new coach John Maduka, earning a 1-1 draw at home to Stellenbosch.
The visitors went ahead through Langelihle Phili in the 19th minute, but Kgomotso Mosadi quickly equalised with a header. Both sides had chances, but neither could find a winner. Magesi remain unbeaten after two games.
Durban City 1-0 Chippa United
Durban City left it late to beat Chippa United 1-0 at Chatsworth Stadium.
After hitting the post early through Haashim Domingo, City finally broke the deadlock in the 88th minute when Joslin Kamatuka scored from a Jean Lwamba cross. The win puts City level at the top with Chiefs, Gallants, and Sekhukhune.
