Manchester United will be looking to bounce back when they travel to face Fulham on Sunday, 20 September, after a disappointing week.
United suffered a 1–0 defeat to Manchester City before throwing away a 2–0 lead against Brighton to lose 3–2 and crash out of the Carabao Cup. Shea Lacey and Mason Mount had United in control inside the opening 10 minutes, but Brighton completed a remarkable comeback.
Michael Carrick’s side now have to quickly turn their attention to the Premier League. Fulham are also still searching for their first league win, setting up an important clash at Craven Cottage. United have not lost there since 2009.
Our Prediction
Fulham 1–3 Manchester United
United will need a reaction after two consecutive defeats, and with both teams looking for a league victory, this could be a closely fought encounter.
